Rosato d'Italia, Sollazzo, Italy

6 Bottles

Tasting Notes: This refreshing rosé offers notes of wild cherry, orange peel and a touch of white blossom through to a delicate salinity on the finish.

Producer Notes: Sollazzo is a range of excellent value-for-money wines which are produced in a state-of-the-art winery in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. Managed sustainably, along with Equalitas, ISO 50001 and ETRS certifications, the aim is to ‘produce more by doing less’ through water resource management, reducing carbon emissions and maintaining biodiversity in the vineyard to create balanced wines.

Winemaking: The grapes come from the Romagna valley floor, between the provinces of Ravenna and Ferrara, where the soils are sandy loam, offering good drainage. The vineyards are managed using Integrated Pest Management techniques, where sprays are only used when strictly necessary. The wine was aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks for four months to retain the purity of fruit.
