A Multi activity day allowing you to stretch your imagination and abilities - tank driving, paintballing, hovercraft driving, with a variety of scenarios. Have a fun corporate event, away from the company office, by bringing everyone together on this exciting team building day.
What is the activity?
Tank Paintball Battles (2 hours)
Learn to drive a tank around a former WWII bombing range, aiming and firing 40mm paintball cannon in battle. With a crew of 3 you will take part in a timed tank battle, hatches closed, using periscopes only.
Tank Driving Experience (45 minutes)
Again on former WWII range drive a 17 tonne steel tank around a steep obstacle course, eventually driving using periscope only
Military Vehicle Driving (40 min per person, 2hrs for groups) Additional costs for this experience apply.

*FERRET MK2 ARMOURED SCOUT CAR Weighing in at 5 tonnes with a very strange driving position, tests your wits and muscles, looking only through your periscopes.
*FV432 armoured personnel carrier Receive instructions on how to drive 17 tonnes of hardened steel, then try tackling the obstacle course with hatches open and your head out.
Paintball (Half and full day)
Ever wondered how they felt on D-Day? Your mission is to clear the heavily defended area, avoiding being mowed down by heavy fire. This mission is both exciting and realistic... As the ramp on your landing craft drops you must storm the enemy positions. This is just one of many different game scenarios!
Hovercraft (l hour)
To drive a unique craft using good balance, fine judgement and forward thinking. “It’s like driving a car with four flat tyres on ice”. Join in the time trials around the land based course.
Archery (l hour)
An outdoor range designed specifically for archery practice over distances ranging from 20 yards for novices up to 80 yards for experts.
Quad Bikes (l hour)
A safari adventure including a variety of fast open ground and challenging woodland terrain.
Clay Pigeon Shooting (l hour)
With experienced instructors you will learn to use a shotgun safely. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific game.
What does the activity include?
Tank experiences include tuition, tank suits, protective helmets and ammunition (where applicable)
Paintball experiences include 300 paintballs
Hovercrafts and Quads will include all necessary safety clothing and equipment and training.
Where does the experience take place?
Leicestershire. On occasions these activities may be carried out on a sister site situated within a 5 minute drive (2 miles) from main site.
What should I wear?
Comfortable outdoor clothing and suitable footwear. Boots or wellingtons in wet weather are advisible.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Depending on activities chosen and times.
When does the activity take place?
Tank driving activities are April to October inclusive.
All other activities are operated all year round subject to availability.
Weekends and selected weekdays available.
Are there any restrictions?
The participant will need to be agile enough to get in and out of the military vehicles and be medically fit enough for all of the activities. If the participant has any doubts about medical fitness, they should consult their doctor. A participant should always seek advise from a doctor if there is any known heart complaint or other medical complaint e.g neck or back problems which may be aggravated by this activity.
Depending on activity chosen certain restrictions apply.
Minimum Ages
Paintball: Minimum age 12 years for all paintball activities.
Military vehicles: No person under the age of 8 years are permitted
Quads: Minimum age 12 years
Anyone under the age of 16 yrs must have their disclaimer signed by a Parent/guardian.
Height and Weight
Tank activity - the maximum height for participants is 1.93m (6ft 4”). The maximum weight is 139kg (22 stones).
Quad – the Minimum height is 4ft 6”
Military Vehicle Driving - Driving License Required, Max weight: 22 stone / 140kg Max height: 6ft 4' / 193cm
What about the weather?
These activities are weather dependent. In the case of severe weather conditions these activities will be rebooked subject to availability.
What else do I need to know?
Tea and coffee available. Catering available at an additional cost. Please enquire further for costs. All catering must be ordered prior to event.
Additional paintballs can be purchased on site on the day.
What are the minimum and maximum numbers?
Min x4 people, Max x60 people, subject to activities chosen and timings.
Military Vehicle Driving, Min 1, Max 9 people.
